IN-NETWORK INSURANCE
We accept PPO insurance plans and are able to verify if your plan is in-network. It is the goal of our office to make sure you maximize your insurance benefits. We will submit your insurance claim for you and make our best effort to calculate your copay for you. However, if your insurance carrier pays less than the estimated cost, you are responsible for the unpaid balance. Unfortunately, we cannot tell insurance companies what to cover but will work with them to provide you with an estimate to the best of our ability.
OUT-OF-NETWORK INSURANCE
Your visit will be just as easy if your insurance plan is not in network. We will submit the insurance claim on your behalf. In order to get a detailed coverage breakdown with explanation of benefits from your insurance, you will need to contact your insurance company directly. We will gladly provide you with whatever dental codes they may request.
MEDICAID
If you’re enrolled in Medicaid you already have dental benefits, and we would love to see you at our office in Terre Haute, Indiana. All you have to do is make an appointment and show us your medicaid card when you visit. Click here if you have more questions about Medicaid.
WHAT YOU MIGHT NOT KNOW ABOUT DENTAL INSURANCE
If you have an employer-based plan, your benefits are established by your employer who coordinates with the insurance company to provide coverage or discounts on selected care. Your benefits may not include care for your child. There could also be waiting periods during which treatment is not covered even though coverage is in effect. Every plan is unique, so it is important that you know your insurance plan and the benefits they offer as well as the deductibles and copays.
INSURANCE POLICIES
- We file all insurance electronically, so your insurance company will receive each claim within days of treatment.
- Please understand that we file insurance as a courtesy to our patients.
- We do not have a contract with your insurance company, only you do. We are not responsible for how your insurance company handles its claims or for what benefits they pay on a claim.
- Some insurance companies pay the member/patient directly. If this is case, the responsible party must reimburse us for service rendered.
